ABOUT THE BRAND

My name is Blaire & I have always had a soft spot for a great dress.

I founded ST. CLAIR in 2023 while navigating a new chapter of life — motherhood. With two young children and nearly 20 years working in the fashion industry specialising in luxury womenswear, I found myself drawn back to the pieces I loved most.

ST. CLAIR was born from that idea — clothing designed for women living real lives. Pieces that feel romantic yet practical, beautiful yet easy to wear.

Our collections are produced in small quantities using GOTS-certified organic cotton, with a focus on thoughtful production and minimal waste. Each dress is designed to be worn again and again, dressed up or down, across seasons and stages of life.

All of our prints are unique to the brand. Inspired by vintage florals and the English countryside, each design begins as a hand-painted watercolour before being printed onto the softest organic cotton. Many styles are finished by hand using traditional techniques such as hand-smocking — details that celebrate craftsmanship and give each piece a sense of quiet individuality.

THE NAME

St. Clair is the middle name shared by the women in my family, from my late Nana to my daughter. For me it represents heritage, femininity and the threads that connect generations of women. It felt like the natural name for a brand rooted in those same ideas.

MADE IN INDIA

ST. CLAIR dresses are designed in London & proudly made in India. A huge amount of the world's cotton comes from India & the region of Delhi is renowned as a mecca for the art of embroidery and textile craftsmanship. We are proud to work with a single, family-owned and run production in New Delhi.

Producing in small quantities allows us to maintain a close relationship with our makers and ensures each piece is created with care and attention.
