RISE is an Indian social welfare initiative founded in 2011 with the aim of helping to transform the lives of disadvantaged women from the poorest regions of the country. Teaching them the skills of garment crafting - from basic sewing to crochet and embroidery, RISE then provides these women with employment.
At ST. CLAIR we are careful not to overproduce, but there is always a small amount of fabric left over. Rather than create waste and add to the growing landfill sites that fashion feed, we have partnered with RISE to re-purpose our deadstock fabric into beautiful night dresses for little girls and transform scraps of fabric into soft padded glasses cases.

We are committed to our partnership with RISE and with each purchase, we hope to support the rise of more women, crafting a better future.
